Stress, low confidence and unmet support needs often lead to disengagement or early leavers.

For learners who are neurodivergent or facing mental health challenges, the right support at the right time can make all the difference.

That’s where focused wellbeing support comes in.

By working directly with training providers and employers, we help create environments where apprentices feel supported, understood and equipped to succeed. This includes one-to-one coaching, mentoring and targeted wellbeing interventions that promote emotional resilience, self-awareness and confidence.

Understanding Learning Support Funding (LSF)

Learning Support Funding (LSF) is available to help apprenticeship training providers support learners with additional needs: including learning difficulties, neurodivergent conditions and disabilities.

LSF offers an extra £150 per month, per learner. This funding can be used to provide targeted wellbeing support that helps apprentices manage challenges, stay engaged and reach their potential.

It’s a practical way to meet individual needs while improving outcomes across your programme.

Putting the right support in place from Day One can make a real difference. With LSF, training providers can offer personalised wellbeing support that meets each learner’s needs, reduce stress and disengagement, and improve retention across programmes.

How I can Help

I have worked in apprenticeship provision for 15 years and continue to do so, alongside my role as an End Point Assessor for various apprenticeship standards. This experience has given me first-hand insight into the unique challenges faced by training providers, employers, and apprentices.

With this hands-on expertise, I offer a service that not only meets the additional support and wellbeing needs of apprentices but also enhances programme outcomes and strengthens employer partnerships.

I understand the pressures that come with an apprenticeship journey; for apprentices, training providers, and employers alike. That’s why I provide tailored solutions that deliver real, measurable results.

How It Works

The process begins with an initial assessment to understand any learning difficulties or wellbeing needs. This involves close collaboration with the training provider and apprentice to get a clear picture of the challenges they may be facing.

Identifying these needs early helps us match the right type of support: whether that’s mentoring, coaching, or additional training.

From there, we create a personalised wellbeing plan built around each learner.

Support is delivered online, through two one-to-one sessions each month, offering a safe space where apprentices feel heard, supported and ready to grow.

This tailored approach not only supports individual progress but also strengthens your programme’s reputation for inclusivity and learner care.
